MUNFORD COUGARS

                                  Jake Kyzar is entering his second year of coaching at                                                 Munford.  He will be the varsity secondary coach and                                               coaching the 9th grade football team. Kyzar came to Munford                                   after retiring after a 31-year teaching and coaching career in                                     Mississippi.  Coach Kyzar retired in June of 2014 and moved                                   to Munford, Tennessee. He obtained his bachelor’s degree                                       from Ole Miss in science education, and his master’s degree                                     in biological sciences and a specialist degree in administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. Coach Kyzar has taught many different sciences as well as coached many different sports. He has been married for 33 years to Candace and they have 2 children, Kevin (28) and Katie (23).
