MUNFORD COUGARS

                                  Blake Goforth is entering his fifth year coaching football and                                   his second year at Munford High School.  The Cougars were                                     8-3 last year with a playoff berth with him coaching the RBs                                     & QBs.  The 2015 Cougars were ranked #9 by the Tennessee                                   Associated Press as they began the season 8-0 for only the                                         second time in school history.  Their dominant rushing attack                                   in 2015 ranked #1 in the regular season in the Shelby Metro                                     Region for rush yards per game.  Coach Goforth as awarded an assistant coach position for the 2015 West Tennessee North All-Star Team.  The North team won 26-24.  Coach Goforth is a graduate of Covington (TN) High School and University of Memphis.  He played football at the University of North Alabama and Arkansas State University.  Blake is married to Amber and they have three children; Amber(10), Brayden(10), and G.R.(2-months).
